Inter FC National Titles

As one of the oldest and best football clubs in the world, Inter FC has won many titles, both domestic and international. Among the worldwide titles, there are the Intercontinental Cup, Intercontinental Supercup and FIFA Club World Cup. The list of the national titles they have won is somewhat longer, which is why we are going to mention only the last three.


This was the 76th Serie A football season that started on August 26th and ended on May 18th. It was decided during the final week after Inter FC lost the initial advantage. Right up to the mid-season, the team had an 11-point advantage, which they lost during the final matches. They were left with a single point to their advantage. During the last match, Zlatan Ibrahimović managed to score two goals, securing the team’s victory and helping them win the title after all. They ended up with 85 points, which was three more than Roma, their main rival, had.


The 77th Serie A football season started in August 30th and ended on May 31st. There was a total of 20 participants, 17 of which participated in the 2007/2008 season as well. Among the teams that scored the most goals, there were Inter FC, Bologna, Genoa, Fiorentina and Milan. Inter’s player Zlatan Ibrahimović was the most successful footballer of the season, thanks to his amazing score of 25 goals. Other players that are worth mentioning include Marco Di Vaio, Diego Milito, Alberto Gilardino and Kaka. The national title was won by Inter FC on May 16th. It was after Milan lost against Udinese that Inter managed to achieve an unassailable lead.


This season was the 78th season of the Serie A competition. There was a total of 20 teams that participated in it, the most important being Inter FC, Juventus, Milan, Fiorentina and Genoa. Among the top goalscorers, there were Antonio Di Natale from Udinese with 29 goals, Diego Milito from Inter FC with 22 goals, Fabrizio Miccoli from Palermo with 19 goals, Giampaolo Pazzini from Sampdoria with 19 goals and Alberto Gilardino from Fiorentina with 15 goals. It wasn’t until the last match of the season that the title race was settled. It was won by Inter FC, who was the winner of the previous four titles as well.
